Remember last fall when I was all excited to be present in Martha Stewart Weddings?

So as I was be-boppin around my favorite blogs today, I discovered this over on Precious Bugarin's notebook. Precious' design, printed here at Tiger Food Press, is part of Martha Stewart Weddings 50 great wedding invitations.

A big, huge congratulations to Precious! I'm thrilled and honored to be her collaborator on this project.

more exciting fall news

This has admittedly been on the stands since early October. Maybe I've been remiss in mentioning it because it seems so hard to believe! But here it is: Precious' "Minimal" wedding invitation design, printed at Tiger Food Press, has a full page feature in the fall 2009 Martha Stewart wedding issue. Also viewable online!

This was such a fun invitation style to print! It is soooo minimal that every little printing detail was extra important. There's no room for sloppiness in inking, impression and color matching when you're working with such an intentionally limited palette. The most fun and beautiful element in this suite is the envelope front and flap, which isn't shown in this image, but can be seen at Precious' site here.
